These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Skill Certify website (https://skillcertify.org) and our services, including our skill assessments, certifications, and verification tools. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
1. Accounts and Registration
To access certain features (like taking an exam), you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
- Notify us immediately if you discover or suspect any security breaches related to the Service.
2. Exam Integrity and Rules
Skill Certify relies on the honesty and integrity of its candidates. By taking an assessment, you agree to the following Code of Conduct:
- You will not use unauthorized aids, cheat sheets, or AI assistance during the exam.
- You will not copy, screenshot, or distribute exam questions to others.
- You will not allow another person to take the exam on your behalf.
Violation Policy: If we detect cheating or plagiarism, Skill Certify reserves the right to immediately invalidate your exam results, revoke any issued certificates, and ban your account without a refund.
3. Certification and Verification
- Validity: Our certificates are a testament to the skills demonstrated at the time of the assessment. They are professional credentials, not accredited academic degrees.
- Verification: You grant Skill Certify the right to display your name, certificate ID, and achievement status on our public Verify Certificate portal to allow employers to validate your credentials.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (including but not limited to exam questions, logos, software, and text) are and will remain the exclusive property of Skill Certify. You are granted a limited license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
5. Payments and Refunds
- Fees: Services are billed in advance on a per-exam basis.
- Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our products, no refunds will be issued once an exam has been started or attempted. If you experience a technical failure that prevents you from completing the exam, please contact support for a retake opportunity.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Skill Certify, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service. We do not guarantee employment or specific career outcomes based on our certifications.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
